i love the picture at the end of poppa george showing you how to work the camera. at work the other day we were fixing something on my boss's blog, and by changing a few words in the HTML we centered a video and made it bigger. i said to my boss, "my great grandfather would have gone nuts for this stuff." i'm so lucky i got to be a part of the legend and have my very own books. i even have a few he made that are just a bunch of cartoons that i drew. most of them were just scribbles or doodles, but he deemed them scrapbook-worthy and that always meant a lot to me. and i COMPLETELY believe that he would have invented facebook.

Your blog is like that book you can’t put down, real and nostalgic, loving and genuine, comforting, what a blessing to have these memories from Poppa George, so many hours of love in all the books he made. I am too the one at home who says “save please print those for the album”, even in this digital era, I still fall for the old fashioned pictures with scrapbook corner holders, or course the kids think I'm old. It’s no wonder you are so good at filming and taking pictures, it’s in your blood! Your videos and writing will be a beautiful legacy your children and grandchildren will cherish for generations to come.
